Fancy enjoying a restaurant meal in the open air? Deliveroo has announced that its riders will now deliver food orders to public parks across Ipswich.
So, if you want to eat al fresco but don’t feel like making sandwiches or packing the picnic basket, you can enjoy a high-tech foodie alternative, by placing an order via smartphone.
To order, you need to download the Deliveroo app for iPhone or Android, enter the details of the nearest park entrance, and head over to meet your rider once you get the delivery notification.
Parks within a certain distance of the central area of the town will be included, including Christchurch Park, Alexandra Park, Chantry Park, Holywells Park and Bourne Park.
Joe Groves from Deliveroo said: “Deliveroo is determined to make this summer as relaxing and enjoyable for customers as possible – that’s why we’re delivering to parks all across the UK. So now you don’t have to sacrifice your spot in the sun to enjoy some of the best summer food & drink”.
The most popular food items ordered via Deliveroo in Ipswich include: Greedy Burger from Love Thy Burger, Chicken katsu curry from Wagamama, Chicken shish from Stone Grill, chilli pepper squid from Miss and cod and chips from Fresh Fry.
