A DRIVER was taken to hospital today following a single-vehicle accident on the A14.The accident happened at around 6.45pm on the west-bound carriageway at Coddenham, not far from the A140 turn off and involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso.

The accident happened at around 6.45pm on the west-bound carriageway at Coddenham, not far from the A140 turn off and involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso.
Fire crews from Needham Market and Ipswich attended as did police and paramedics.
The driver, who was complaining of lower back pains, was taken by ambulance to Ipswich hospital with injuries not deemed to be serious.
One lane was temporarily closed.
