MOTORISTS experienced delays on the A12 and A14 today.
The Felixstowe-bound carriageway of the A14 at Whitehouse, Ipswich was blocked due to a jack-knifed lorry.
The incident happened about 6.40am and a recovery vehicle was called in to deal with the problem.
The lorry was clear of the road and in a lay-by by 8.45am but motorists were still experiencing tailbacks to the A140 at 10.15am today.
Earlier, there were major delays in Norwich Road and Bramford Road, Ipswich as traffic was diverted through the town and back onto the A14.
Meanwhile, there were accidents reported on the A12 at Stratford St Mary and Capel St Mary as the morning rush hour got under way.
Those wreckages of those collisions have also now been cleared from the road.
