POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young man was killed in a road accident in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire yesterday.The pedestrian, in his twenties, died after an accident with a Scania lorry on the A1101 Leverington Road, near the Oak brewery, at 1pm.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young man was killed in a road accident in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire yesterday.
The pedestrian, in his twenties, died after an accident with a Scania lorry on the A1101 Leverington Road, near the Oak brewery, at 1pm.
The lorry was driven by a 47-year-old man from Spalding. The road was closed but reopened at 5pm.
Anyone who saw the incident, the lorry or the man before the accident should call Cambridgeshire Police road policing unit on 0845 456 4564.
