A field in Suffolk has been left scorched after a blaze broke out on 140 acres of land.
Emergency services were called at 1.40pm on Thursday to Daisy Green in Groton, between Sudbury and Hadleigh, to reports of a fire.
According to a spokesman for Suffolk County Council, 140 acres of the field was "well alight".
A total of 16 fire appliances were sent to the scene from across Suffolk, as well as an engine from Colchester.
In an update from Suffolk County Council just before 3pm, the fire is reported to have reached one to two square miles.
A stop message was sent at 3.44pm, with the number of engines at the scene scaled down.
The incident is the latest field blaze to break out in Suffolk in the last 10 days, with the fire service declaring a major incident last Tuesday due to the high number of callouts.
