DR ALBERT WINFIELD GRANT

DR ALBERT WINFIELD GRANT OBE 3rd September 1934 - 7th August 2024 With great sadness, the family of Dr Albert Winfield Grant OBE announces his death on Wednesday 7th August. Albert died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Albert was the much loved husband of Ena, father of Erskine, Lindsay, Ruth, Albert Jnr., Carol and Sonia. Devoted and loving grandfather to ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Albert will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Park Conference & Events Centre, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich IP3 8UH on Thursday 5th September, 2024, at 11.30 a.m. followed by internment at Millennium Cemetery, 320 Tuddenham Road, Ipswich IP4 3QJ at 2.00 p.m. Following the internment, family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Albert's life at Trinity Park Conference & Events Centre. Remembering Albert. He was my dear friend Sonia's dad and he put up with sleepovers, constant telephone calls and gaggles of giggling girls with charm and humour. Thanks Pa Grant for being you. Love to all the family. xx
