LAY Barbara Jean (formerly Brooks) of Creeting St. Peter, passed away peacefully, at home, cared for by her family, on August 31st, 2022 aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Derrick and dearly loved mother of Roger and Trevor, grand mother, great grand mother, sister, aunt and friend - she will be sadly missed. Funeral Service will take place at Ipswich Crematorium on Monday, October 10th, 2022 at 11.45 a.m. Flowers welcome and should be sent to Chapel of Rest, 32, Boss Hall Road, Ipswich, IP1 5BN, by 9.30 a.m. on day of service. Donations, in memory of Barbara, if desired, in support of Stowmarket Community Nursing Team, may be sent to East of England Co-op Funeral Services, 47, St Helens Street, Ipswich, IP4 2JL.
