Firefighters from five Suffolk stations were called to a farm near Ipswich after a barn containing machinery went up in flames.
The blaze broke out on Sunday morning in a farm building off Tenth Road, just west of the A14, at Bucklesham.
Fire crews from Ipswich East, Princes Street, Woodbridge, Felixstowe and Leiston stations were called to the scene shortly before 10am.
They arrived at the farm to find a barn “well alight”, according to a spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
The building measured 20 metres by 10m and was said to have contained farming machinery.
A ‘stop message’ was recorded, indicating the fire had been extinguished, just before 11.25am.
The fire service spokesman said the cause of the blaze had yet to be established, adding that the incident had caused no risk to public safety.
