Customers at an Ipswich bakery will have the chance to win free cake for a year as part of a business's birthday celebrations.

Mama Bears Cake Bar opened in The Walk last year and was the bakery's second Suffolk location as owner Rebecca Cockett expanded from Saxmundham.

She first set up the business just over five years ago following the birth of her daughter before opening her first brick-and-mortar bakery three years later.

The Saxmundham bakery closed its doors earlier this year so Ms Cockett could focus on the Ipswich bakery and future opportunities.

The pastel pink cake shop serves a range of baked good such as brownies and cookie pies, alongside made to order celebration cakes.

"Our little pink cake shop is nestled in Ipswich's town centre and is surrounded by lots of other lovely independent shops.

"We have settled in really well with lots of wonderful regular customers who return every week."

As part of the birthday celebrations, Mama Bears Cake Bar is offering customers the chance to win free cake for a whole year.
