A man and woman have been treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued from a flat fire in Ipswich.
Emergency services were called to the blaze in Finchley Road at about 9.20pm on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters rescued a woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s from the flat.
The spokesman added that both needed treatment for smoke inhalation as a result of the fire.
Two crews from Ipswich East and one from Needham Market attended and four firefighters in breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were used.
A stop call was made at 10.17pm by the fire service.
