Ipswich Town-related fan art has started to be displayed in vacant retail units in the town centre.
The project in conjunction with business-to-business organisation Ipswich Central features artist designs promoting Ipswich Town home Premier League matches.
Posters were installed in the former H&M building on the corner of Tower Street and Tavern Street, home to a pop-up Sports Direct.
Known as 'Call Me Ted', the artistic design project is part of a fan-led project to design gig-style posters for every Ipswich Town home game in their first season back in the Premier League.
Call Me Ted work with a different artist for each home game displaying the artwork in pubs and shops as well as in the official matchday programme.
The project in intended not just to highlight the artwork and promote the football club but also to improve the visual appeal of the town centre.
It is also part of a wider campaign known as the ‘Added Time’ campaign run by Ipswich Central to celebrate the impact of Premier League football on the town, its businesses and local people.
This has involved a series of professional fan culture portrait photographs as well as images captured by fans on matchdays using disposable cameras.
Co-founder of Call Me Ted Steve Haugh said: "Through this project we're really pleased to be celebrating how much Ipswich Town FC matters to fans and the wider community at the same time as showcasing the incredible range of artists on our doorstep. The support we've had has been overwhelming, with the fanbase and local businesses really connecting with the designs.
"Thanks to Ipswich Central we're now able to show off these artworks in a larger format, while adding some extra colour to the buildings."
