Police say a man is safe after he climbed onto the roof of an Ipswich Hospital building.
Suffolk police said the man, who is a patient at the hospital, left his bed at about 6.50pm on Tuesday before scaling the roof of the Woodlands Unit at the Ipswich Hospital site.

The man was said to be on the roof for more than 14 hours.
A spokesman has now confirmed the man is off the roof and is being treated by medical staff.
They added that he had climbed over several buildings and had refused to come down but is now safe.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service were in attendance.
Police confirmed the incident did not affect the running of the hospital.
