A man who seriously assaulted two men at a garage and a drug dealer were among those jailed in Suffolk this week.
Gladstone Allen
Gladstone Allen was sentenced to three years behind bars for an attack which left one man with life-changing injuries.
Allen, 32 and of Muntjac Gardens in Stowmarket, assaulted two men at the BP Garage, in Norwich Road, Ipswich, on August 13 last year.
The assault left one of his victims with a life-changing brain injury.
Allen’s defence barrister Simon Sherriff told Ipswich Crown Court that the assaults were “an absolute moment of madness with dire, dire consequences”.
Tommie Pearmain
Tommie Pearmain was jailed for four years for dealing cocaine, ketamine and cannabis in Lowestoft.
Pearmain, 26, of Southfield Gardens in Lowestoft, was arrested following a raid at a property in Wheatacre, near Beccles, in November 2023.
Following his arrest, Pearmain was charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine; concerned in the supply of ketamine and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty to all three charges at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday.
Adrian Ling
Adrian Ling has been jailed for eight years for carrying out a long-running campaign of violence against a Suffolk business.
Ling, 63, of Woodside in Beccles, caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to coaches run by Goldline Travel during a personal vendetta against the company.
Ipswich Crown Court was told there were more than 80 incidents reported.
The vendetta started after Ling was accused of stealing diesel from the company.
