A 35-year-old man has been ordered to pay back £6 after stealing two packets of fabric softener from a Co-op store in Ipswich.
Richard McCleary appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich last month.
He pleaded guilty to stealing two packets of Lenor Unstoppables from the East of England Co-op store in Cauldwell Hall Road on October 30 last year.
An application was made for a sum of £6 to recovered from benefits paid to McCleary, who is of Delaware Road, Southend.
