An appeal has been launched after a teenage boy was seen running towards members of the public and following them in Martlesham.
Suffolk police has received reports of a male acting in a concerning manner near to the village green in the east Suffolk village.
The teenager is alleged to have followed people on the green, before running towards them and staring them.
According to a post on social media, he then circled them and follows them from a distance.
The behaviour has left members of the public concerned, Suffolk police has said.
The incident is believed to have taken place at about 9pm on Tuesday.
The teenager is described as white, aged between 14 and 18, 5ft 9ins tall and of a slim build.
He was reportedly wearing a face covering at the time of the incident, with a light coloured hooded top and baggy blue jeans.
Anyone who may have information is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/65096/23.
