A police investigation into the death of a cyclist who died after a serious crash with a lorry near Felixstowe is ongoing, an inquest has heard.
Allan Stevenson, 73, died after being involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Walton high street on October 24 last year.
Mr Stevenson, who originally hailed from Newcastle, was found to have suffered “unsurvivable” injuries, and died at the scene.
An inquest into the death of Mr Stevenson has been adjourned until later in the year.
Senior coroner for Suffolk Nigel Parsley heard that the police investigation into Mr Stevenson's death was in progress.
He therefore made the decision to delay the inquest into Mr Stevenson’s death until November.
