A pedestrian who died in a fatal crash on the A14 had a "history of mental ill health", an inquest has heard.
Jason Pack, 39 and from Claydon, died on the A14 at Coddenham, north of Ipswich, on September 17, 2022.
Police were called after receiving reports of a collision involving several vehicles and a pedestrian.
A Suffolk police spokesman later confirmed a male pedestrian died at the scene.
No-one else was injured in the crash.
An inquest into Mr Pack's death was opened at Suffolk Coroners' Court, heard he had a "history of mental ill health".
